The Southwood Park Water District is located in Clackamas County serving 299 households (one household has an Accessory Dwelling Unit or ADU) with 298 service connections. All water supplied to customers is from one well drilled in 1954 to a depth of 835 feet located at 12802 SW 61st Ave. in Portland, Oregon.
The water tower is 84 feet tall with a circumstance of 17 feet giving it a capacity of 145,000 gallons. The submersible pump was installed in 2009 to a depth of 400 feet. The system is gravity fed with 30 psi at the north end and 75 psi at the south end.
The water district has 2.7 miles of pipe, 17 fire hydrants, and 298 meters. The last water year, Oct. 1, 2019, to Sept. 30, 2020, the system pumped about 19 million gallons of water.
