Hiland Water is replacing and updating all the water meters in the District. Within the next couple of years, all 298 connections will be replaced with a new Harris Mueller meter. Mueller Systems is the nation’s oldest water meter manufacturer. Its products include systems that allow remote activation, electronic metering technology and automated, accurate meter reading. These new meters will save both time and money to Southwood Park residents. The company’s latest innovation acoustic systems, help water systems find leaks and can even alert operators to impending problems which can save municipal systems significant amounts of money.
